What should I do after an accident if I’m not at fault?Return to Videos & FAQS
The first thing to do after an automobile accident, if you’re not at fault, is to seek emergency medical treatment. That way, the doctors can treat you, find out what your injuries are, and document those injuries. After you’ve sought that emergency medical treatment, it’s very important that you contact an attorney who can then get those records, and get the scene photos that you’ve taken, and present those to the insurance company in a matter to get you the most money for your injuries.
